A dear, dear friend was in town. So a long, lingering lunch was in order. We met at Millesime.
And were seated at this alcove balcony table overlooking the elegant lobby.
Many stories were told over wonderful dishes.

We even had a great view of a fashion photoshoot from our balcony seats…

You completely do have adorable friends.
I just love that cat… I’ve taken in a few barn cats in my day, temporarily, to have them spayed or neutered (and I raised an orphaned kitten once, carrying it around most of the day inside of my work jacket), and there’s nothing like having an affectionate, snuggly cat around.
It’s a revelation to me. A good one. Never had cats before. Now I’m thinking of having one
